Advanced Production Technologies course students find solutions to real shop floor issues

In the scope of Advanced Production Technologies course, Mechanical Engineering students or Industrial Engineering and Management students are challenged to analyze real industrial problems and to suggest technical solutions to these problems, sustained in technical and scientific data, as well as with an investment estimation and revenue prediction. Proposals must be genuine engineering solutions. 

In the second semester of the academic year of 2016-2017, Industrial Engineering and Management students had as challenge the organization of the reception and management of used polymers to be transformed in a new/recycled raw material. The challenge was presented by LIFEPOLY (Oiã, Portugal). Bellow are the final assignment posters. Most of the posters are in Portuguese.
